Trash to Treasure

Did you know each resident in Franklin County averages four to five pounds of waste daily? Have you ever wondered where that waste goes? Join SWACO and Grove City Parks and Recreation to learn about science of trash by touring a modern-day landfill to observe the operation first-hand and use recycled material to make a treasure. Participate in hands-on activities at the SWACO Education Resource Center. All activities are free, but registration for the landfill tours is needed to hold your seat.
