Moongaze

Presented by: Miami Valley Astronomical Society

Come learn about the importance of protecting the natural night sky for life on Earth from representatives of Dark Sky Ohio. This will be followed by a short one mile nature hike at sunset led by a member of the State Park staff. Upon returning to the starting point take a peak at the rising moon with members of the Miami Valley Astronomical Society through a telescope and astronomical binoculars.

This event is held at the end of the parking lot and atop the rise adjacent to the playground.
