The COSI Science Festival is a 4–day celebration of science, taking place April 30th - May 3rd, 2025. Explore the festival experiences below to find an event in your community, on site at COSI, or in your own backyard.

From tours to trivia, educational talks, nature walks, and more, explore an array of exciting events for children, adults, families, and everyone in between. Held at locations around Ohio, these events highlight the science all around us and connect us to the people who engage with it every day.

Experience Ohio’s largest STEAM celebration with over 100 exciting exhibitor stations featuring hands-on science activities. Hosted by STEAM professionals, researchers, and experts from Central Ohio and beyond, this event takes place on the Scioto Peninsula—just outside COSI—on the final day of the four-day COSI Science Festival.

Contribute to real scientific research by exploring the nature around you! A BioBlitz is a fun way for our community to discover and document the plants and animals we share our spaces with. Join guided nature walks hosted by BioBlitz partners, or participate on your own from your backyard. All you need is a phone with a camera—your observations help scientists better understand Ohio’s biodiversity.
